Hi: My first message on this board. I noticed the name SWIGERT. This family is not in my ancestry, but my uncle, now deceased was DALE K. SWIGERT, son of GEORGE SWIGERT or London Mills. His only surviving child lives in Farmington, IL. I do not have a lot, but a bit on the family. All of my grandparents and g. grandparents were from the London Mills, Fairview area and I have considerable info on them. Also, from Chestnut Twp., Knox Co. I will list MY families in another post. - Marna J. I recently learned that one of my ancestors is buried in a cemetery near Farmington, Fulton County, Illinois. I'm new to this mailing list, and wonder if there is anyone who could do a look-up for me? If so, I am seeking information for the following individual: Elizabeth Ann Bowen Truitt, wife of James Isaac Truitt. I'm sorry, but I don't have a year for her death. Her approximate year of birth would be about 1810. I am assuming she died between 1840 and 1870, but I have been unable to find her name on census records so far. I also recently learned that her husband, James Isaac Truitt, is buried in Camp Grove, Stark County, Illinois. James died in 1856, but I am not sure if Elizabeth died before or after his death. Given the fact that Stark County is a neighboring county to Fulton County, perhaps someone would be able to give me advice about any cemeteries near Camp Grove, Stark County, Illinois as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Lottie Hendricks Mesa, Arizona

I noted from a Sept 25 posting that the person seeking tax photos of land was researching the Brewer family. So am I - David BREWER and Rebecca PICKETT/PIGGOTT and their descendants in particular. They lived in Farmington from about 1841to their deaths in 1888 and 1892. Their children were: John William [m. TAYLOR], Eleanor T [m. DUNN], Emma Josephine [m SCALES], Harriett [m. SCALES], Milton George [m. MUNDY] , America Alice and an infant. Is this the Brewer family you are researching also. I do think there may have been two David Brewer families in the Farmington area. I would like to communicate with any others researching this family. Thanks, Linda Laing
