I am try to find if there is a connection to John Ebbert that lived in Schulyer Co. Jacqueline; Tomorrow I am making a copy of data on Elizabeth Shaw and her family, for another researcher, It is on Elizabeth and family move to Oregon. If you need a copy, I would be glad to send you a copy, also. Elizabeth and Carline were children of John William Shaw and his wife, Harriett Nancy Harris Shaw. John Shaw's sister Artemesia Shaw married Jorden Pritchard. They had eleven children: Mary Jane,Robert, Alexander, James, Elizabeth, Benjamin. Eliza, Nancy, Sarah, Rebecca and Ellen Pritchard. Jorden developed Cholera and died; Atremesia, Alexander and Rebecca Pritchard also died. If you can't find a copy of the History, it is available at the Family History Centers on loan from the LDS Church. I need a Physical address or P.O. box address to send the data. If you are the person that sent me the item to me early in 2001, please contact me about Washington Co., VA. I had a severe bout with my Lupus in 2001 and had a nasty memory loss. Just as was starting to recover my computer Crashed and I lost some of my material. The IL Statewide Marriage Index indicates her name was Frances, not Fanny? Would that help? Karen
I am wondering if anyone on this list is familiar with this Fitch family. Joseph Fitch and Elizabeth Mann were married in Fulton Co. on Aug 23, 1855. I find them in 1860 in Mason Co., IL with daughter Mary E. age 4 and Homer J. (died in infancy). I find them in 1870 in Washington Co., KS with children Mary 14, Charles 9, Laura 4, and Chloe 2. I find in 1880 in Washington Co., KS with children charles 19, Laura 14, Fannie 7, and Martha 3. I am tracking this family from Fannie. She married Benjamin F. Jones in 1894 in Fulton Co., IL. So, they must have returned to IL after 1880. Hope to hear from someone. Karen

I have the 1830 index. There are no Kimballs listed. Gloria
I am hoping to connect with someone that would be familiar with the following family: Benjamin F. Jones and Fannie A. Fitch - married Feb 28, 1889 in Fulton Co. They had daughter Flossie M. Jones in 1894. I have been unable to locate Benjamin and Fannie in 1900 and 1910. I have looked in Fulton and Peoria. Who were their parents?? I located a B. F. Jones age 1, with father Wiley D. Jones and mother Susan on the 1870 Fulton Census Index, but can't find them in 1880. Does anyone have access to the 1890 Biographical Portraits? I see a W.D. Jones is indexed. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Karen

Can anyone tell me if Charles Kimball shows up in the state census index for Fulton Co. in 1825, 1835 or 1840? The 1840 one would be of special interest. Chuck Kimball
Thank you all for your suggestions on my Cadwallader family. I think Gloria may have found one of them (William) in Tippecanoe, Henry County, Iowa. I have also been told that William's sister Rachel was married in Henry County, Iowa about 1855, but I have not been able to find a Cadwallader family there in 1860. Thank you very much for all your help. I have never had such a quick and thorough response as on this list.
Trying looking in Miami Co Kansas. Some of the Calwalader Family of fulton Co Ill married into my Easley family and they all moved there and then into other counties of Kansas. Wilma

Hi List, I 'm trying to find a Daniel Lutes father to Lula Pearl Lutes in 1879. Lula Pearl's mother Ida May shows up in the 1880 census living with her parents in Smithfield Fulton Co with Lula Pearl, but I can't find a Daniel on the 1880 census that could reasonably be the father. Daniel and Ida May are listed on Pearl's marriage certificate as parents. But on Ida May's marriage certificate in 1884 to Charles Laswell, she indicated that this was her first marriage, therefore Lula Pearl was probably born out of wedlock. The only information I can find on a Daniel Lutes is in MO and IN and I'm doubtful that there is a fruitful connection...but maybe. Any information would be much appreciated.
Since the families I found on the 1860 census index didn't seem to be the right families, I thought I would look a little further beyond the Fulton County borders. I don't have the 1860 index for all states, just IL, IN, MN, WI, CA, ID, IA, KS, NE, NV, NM, TX, UT, WA. Here are several possibilities. I have some of the 1870 index CD's if you'd like a lookup there. --RuthAnn Name: Caderallader, John G. Year: 1860 Gender: Age: County: MASON CO. State: IL Page: 484 Location: HAVANA P. O.
