    3. I am a decendent of NELSON REED, born 28 Dec. 1799 and MARY COCKRELL, born 14 Feb. 1811. They were married in Licking County, Ohio in 1832-1833 and moved to Fulton County at a later date. NELSON REED's first wife was JANE MAXWELL and she died in Licking County, Ohio about 1831-1832. NELSON and MARY's daughter, FLUEZI ANNA REED married my great grandfather GEORGE WASHINGTON CAMPBELL in McDonough County, Illinois on 12 June 1857. NELSON REED died 17 Apr. 1865 and I am assuming that he died in either Fulton County or McDonough County. I cannot find a record as to where. Also, in the 1880 census I found MARY NELSON and her sister ELIZA LYONS living with her in Bushnell, McDonough County. MARY COCKRELL REED died 27 Aug. 1883, but I have no record as to where she is buried either. Because they owned property in Bushnell, McDonough County I am assuming that they are buried together there. NELSON REED is the son of WILLIAM REED, SR. and NANCY WOOLFORD. WILLIAM came from Penn. and married NANCY, daughter of STEPHENS W. WOOLFORD and ELIZABETH (BETTY) WHITELY in Maryland. I have not been able to trace the ancestors of MARY COCKRELL, born in Penn., WILLIAM REED, SR., no birth info., or GEORGE W. CAMPBELL, born in Licking County Ohio, and would appreciate any information someone would share with me on these individuals. I have the names and birth dates for all of NELSON REED'S children from both wives and sources for NANCY WOOLFORD'S ancestrial trail into the 1600's. SHERMAN CAMPBELL

I was sooooo excited. There is no telling what we will be able to find. "LDS Family History Library has announced that it has begun the process of digitizing and making available on the Internet all of the Family History books in their collection. About 5000 books have been digitized and are available, and they have announced that they are adding about 100 titles a week to the on-line collection. Copyright issues are playing a role in determining the order in which they progress through this task; books out of copyright are being done first." 2. Robert Pumfrey
    3. Hello list, I found an interesting web site which talks about the routes people followed as they migrated west. There is brief mention of Astoria and Fulton County in connection with one of the routes. Only a couple of family names were mentiond: BeHymers and Toney. The web site is one of a series with articles written by a historian with the Brethren / Dunkard churches. This site is of interest to me because several of my Fulton and McDonough County families were connected with the Brethren churches in the Astoria area and the old Coal Creek Church near Farmington. http://www.cob-net.org/docs/brethrenlife_migrations.htm#ioway Some of my Fulton family names are: BOLLINGER, BROWN, BOYD, SCHISLER, NEBERGALL, GREWELL.
