Eva Lorene Tate, 95, of Harrisburg; died at 315 p.m. Friday, May 3, 2013 at the Shawnee Rose Care Center in Harrisburg. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, May 6, 2013 at the Tate's Chapel Cemetery near Galatia. Friends and family are asked to go directly to the cemetery. Arrangements are with the Leffler - Poulson Funeral Home of Benton. Eva was born on March 9, 1918 near Galatia the daughter of Randle Tate and Recie (Karnes) Tate. She was an active hardworking lady. She loved her chickens and use to sell fresh eggs. Most of all she enjoyed being around people. Miss Tate is survived by four nieces: Joy Sayles of Bettendorf, IA, Jean Shirah of Saraland, AL, Carol Nichting of Gilbertsville, KY, Weida Aud of Harrisburg; and her good friends and neighbors Bill and Jane Richey of Galatia.
