    3. Juanita McClerren Juanita McClerren, 84, of Mt. Vernon, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior at 12:31 p.m. Friday, May 3, 2013 at the Good Samaritan Regional Health Center in Mt. Vernon. She was born in Alamo, Georgia, the 2nd eldest of six children, on March 13, 1929, the daughter of Opal Hayes and Michael "Mac" McCullough. She married Bueford McClerren on November 7, 1946, whom she met at church. She most recently resided in Mt. Vernon with Bueford. She worked at Humpty Dumpty Nursery, Wilson’s Cabinets and most recently, Fazolis Restaurant where she was lovingly referred to as "the breadstick lady’. Juanita was an accomplished seamstress and embroiderer. She enjoyed baking, gardening, bible study and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of the Union Freewill Baptist Church in Thompsonville. She was preceded in death by her parents; three siblings, Olen McCullough, Virginia Mummert and Gary McCullough and a daughter, Norma McClerren. Survivors include her husband, Bueford McClerren of Mt. Vernon; a daughter, Judy Jones of Mt. Vernon; five grandchildren, Jen and (Farrin) Melton of Mt. Vernon, Steve and (Kendra) Kashycke of Fairview Heights, Devin and (Chad) Morgan of Mt. Vernon, Chad and (Becky) Jones of Louisville, Ky. and Morgan Nelson of Mt. Vernon; nine great grandchildren, Sheridan and Addison Melton, Gabe Kashycke, Cadence and Ethan Morgan, Abel and Silas Nelson and Paisley and Javin Jones and by a brother, Marshall and (Eloise) McCullough of Thompsonville and a sister, Ella Jean McClerren of Thompsonville
