MARION -- Donald Lee Fleetwood, 80, passed away at 5:05 p.m. Monday, Feb. 18, 2013, in VA Medical Center in Marion. He was born Jan. 11, 1933, in Davies County, Ind., to Clarence and Hazel (Kindall) Fleetwood. He married Marjorie (Herschelman) Fleetwood on March 21, 1954, in Vincennes, Ind. Survivors include his wife, Marjorie Fleetwood of Marion; a son, D.J. Fleetwood of Marion; two grandchildren, Jeremy Fleetwood and Mackenzie Fleetwood, both of Benton; and three sisters, Margie Thomas and Shirley Perkins, both of Washington, Ind., and Lois Stevens of Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; and one sister. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He formerly worked as a developer and salesman in the oil industry. Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 22, in Memorial Park Cemetery in Vincennes, Ind. Military graveside rites will be conducted. There will be no visitation.
