    3. JOHNSTON CITY - Leroy "Mike" Rice Jr., 71, of Vienna, formerly of Corinth, passed away at 10 a.m. Thursday April 11, 2013, in Memorial Hospital of Carbondale. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 14, in Murman and Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City, with Pastor John Kee officiating. Burial will be in Corinth Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society or to the American Heart Association. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. Mike was born Aug. 24, 1941, in Aurora, the son of Leroy Sr. and Grace Mae (Learned) Rice. He married Shirley Ann (Hoday) who preceded him in death Sept. 7, 1993. He later married Donna (Rachmaciej) who preceded him in death March 17, 2013. Mike was a mechanic and enjoyed woodworking and spending time with family. He is survived by six children, Margaret Garegnan and husband, Chuck, of Herrin, Frank Rice and wife, Andrea, of Vienna, Adam Rice and wife, Kim, of Ind., Charlene Dees and husband, Donnie Rice, Matthew Rice, and Rebecca Rice, all of South Carolina; 21 grandchildren, Nick, Dillon, Brittany, Makayla, Ethan, Wayne, Jimmy, Christopher, Phoenix, Alexis, Reanna, Ethan, Michael, Scott, Nia, Tequila, Alex, Nicholas, James, Colt, and Marianna; one great-granddaughter, Grasyn; brothers and sisters, Linda Oucalt of Ninevah, Bill Rice and wife, Judy, of Johnston City; stepbrothers and stepsisters, Ralph Rice and wife, Betty of West Frankfort, Judy Sharp and husband, Jerry of Aurora, Joyce Sine and husband, Steve, of Marion; one sister-in-law, Marsha Hoffard of Pittsburg; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
