PETE TALLEY Benton Pete Talley, 67, died on Monday, Dec. 28,1998 at the Veterans Medical Center, Marion. Services will be held Thursday, Dec 31, at 2 p.m. in the Poulson Funeral Home. Burial, with Military Rites will be in the Masonic & Odd Fellows Cemetery. Friends may call on Thursday from 11 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Mr. Talley was born on March 13, 1931, the son of James and Martha (Brown) Talley. He was married to Ruby Grammer Talley. She Survives. He was a truck driver for Franklin Asphalt and was an Army veteran. He belong to the American Legion and Eagles and was raised in the Church of God. Survivors include four sons, Pete and wife Darlene Talley of Ziegler; Robert Talley of Benton, Olen Talley of Benton, Michael And wife, Alisha Talley of Front Royal, Virginia; four daughters, Linda and husband Greg Mandrell, Benton, Karen Renyard of Dekalb, Cheryl and husband Montie Summers of Benton and Jody Worthy of Carmi; Sisters, Leoma Wiggins of More Haven, Fla., LaVaughn Overturf of Buckner, Mary Sell of Benton Billie Burton, Benton, June Hungate of Thompsonville, Carolyn Doxsie of Benton and Linda Melvin, Benton.
