Vernon observed their 68th Wedding Anniversary Thursday. The Orricks were married Oct. 12, 1938, in Mt. Vernon. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Everett APGAR. Gene is the son of the late Charley and Rose (OVERBEY) ORRICK. His two brothers, an infant and Gene's twin, Charles Albert, are both deceased. Virginia is the daughter of the late Walter and Ethel (TOLLEY) FINN. Her siblings are Jewell BENNETTE of Bunker Hill, Rena BIRKHEAD (deceased), Paul FINN of Sycamore, Eugene FINN (deceased), Neva DAVIS of Opdyke, and Reva FINN (deceased). The Orricks are the parents of two daughters, Betty (Jerry) LAUR of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. and Colleen (Dennis) RICHARDS of Belle Rive. They have three grandchildren Mark LAUR of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., Dawn (Logan) WINKLER and Jason (Lindi) RICHARDS of Belle Rive. Their great-grandchildren are Alex LAUR of Oregon, Courtney LAUR of California, Eric RICHARDS (deceased), Morgan LUSBY, River WINKLER, Andrew RICHARDS and Sydney RICHARDS of Belle Rive.
