LOVIN is home on furlough from the Pacific area where he has been serving with the 648th Engineers. He has been in service since October, 1941 and during that time was stationed in Canada, Australia and the Philippines. He has two brothers and a sister in foreign service, who are: Pfc. Arthur L. LOVIN, with a railway shop battalion in France; Pfc. Billy C. LOVIN with an armored division in Germany and Lt. Helen B. LOVIN, A.N.C., now in Naples, Italy. She formerly was attached to a station hospital in Iran. Sgt. LOVIN is the husband of the former Irene WARREN of Bluford and the son of Mr. and Mrs. H. C. LOVIN also of Bluford.
