    3. Ms. Frances Gajewski of Belleville, IL, departed this life at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO on Thursday, April 18, 2013 at 2:15 AM. She had attained the age of 83 years, 11 months and 16 days. Ms. Gajewski was born on May 2, 1929 in Jefferson County, IL, the daughter of Frank and Sophia (Szopinski) Kujawa. She was united in marriage to Tedward Gajewski on October 7, 1950 at St. Michael Catholic Church in Radom, IL. and he preceded her in death on April 15, 1993. Frances worked in accounting as a bookkeeper for more than 50 years. She was a member of the Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Belleville, IL and the St. Louis Metro Polka Club. Frances enjoyed quilting, cooking, gardening and she loved going to the casino’s. Left to mourn her passing is her 12 brothers and sisters, Bernice Kwiatkowski of Mt. Vernon, Albert Kujawa and wife Rose Ann of Nashville, Helen Witges and husband Leo of Scheller, Hattie Geppert and husband Stanley of Oakdale, Ernie Kujawa and wife Rose Marie of Scheller, Mary Ann Krus and husband John of Nashville, Alex Kujawa and wife Marcia of Ashley, Elsie Flerlage and her husband Ben of Mt. Vernon, Maxine Wright and husband Roy of Sesser, Laverne Schumn and husband David of Bluford, Charles Kujawa and wife Janet of Ashley and Frankie Kujawa and wife Cindy of Ashley; sister-in-law, Sue Kujawa of Fairview Heights, IL; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 brothers, Eugene and Walter Kujawa: 4 nephews, Mike Krus, Douglas Geppert, Harold Connaway and Bobby Joe Kujawa; a sister-in-law, Mary Jane Kujawa; and a brother-in-law, Leo Kwiatkowski. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Michael Catholic Church in Radom, IL on Monday, April 22, 2013 at 10 AM with Fr. Dale Maxfield officiating and with interment in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the Campagna Funeral Home in Ashley IL on Sunday from 5 PM until 8 PM and on Monday from 7:30 AM until 9:30 AM. The rosary will be recited at the funeral home at 8PM on Sunday evening. Should friends desire mass offerings or memorials can be made to St Michael Catholic Church or Cemetery and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home.
