FUNERAL SERVICES FOR CLYDE BIGHAM HERE SATURDAY Hand written 12/3/65 Clyde B Bigham, 71, of Buckner, died suddenly shortly after noon yesterday following an apparent heart attack in his car on the square in Benton. A county resident 55 years and a veteran of World War I he was pronounced dead on arrival at the Franklin Hospital at 12:20 pm. He was a son of the late Bert and Cora Bigham. He is survived by a brother Melvin Bigham of Benton, a sister, Mrs. Goldie Akin of East St. Louis, and four step-sisters, Mrs. Jean Joplin of Benton, Mrs. Lela Brown of Mt. Olive, Mrs. Opal Dempsey of Los Angeles, CA and Mrs. Maxine Hayse of Alton. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Saturday at the Hobbs Johnson Funeral Home in Benton with Rev Clyde Gulley officiating. Interment will be in the Masonic and Odd Fellows cemetery, Benton. The body is in state at the funeral home.
