His second wife, Mary survives, along with 17 grandchildren, and one great grandchild. He is survived by one brother, Dr. John Clayton of Johnston City and a sister, Gertie Hart of Hammond, Indiana. Funeral was held Monday at 1 pm at Ewing Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Sam McCoy.
