Robert Lee Cundiff, 78, of South Elgin, IL, formerly of West Frankfort, IL, passed away peacefully on April 8, 2013 surrounded by his family. He was born on April 2, 1935 in West Frankfort, IL. He was a Veteran and served in the US Army. Bob was an avid golfer, loved life, and will be dearly missed. Survivors include his wife, Juanita, whom he married on October 23, 1965; his sister: Colleen (Lloyd) Toms; along with 4 special nieces and nephew: Mike Raymond, Toni Owens, Jennita Foley and Deborah Olson; along with other nieces, nephews, family, close friends and "Special Golfing Buddies". He was preceded in death by his father: Robert M. Cundiff; his mother: Beulah Raymond; and his dad, Joe Raymond; along with his beloved brother: Bill Raymond; and sister in law, Rosalie Raymond. Funeral services were held on Saturday April 13, 2013 at 12 p.m. noon at the Laird Funeral Home, Elgin. Burial followed at Mount Hope Cemetery.
