Stephen L. Renn, 52, died at 12:36 p.m. Wednesday, April 10, 2013, at his residence. He was born Aug. 19, 1960 in Gary, Ind., to Cyrus and Nora (Stanley) Renn. He loved his family, loved to coach girls' basketball, loved Elvis. He was a caregiver for his mother. He was preceded in death by his father, Cyrus Renn; and his wife, Judy Renn. Survivors include a daughter, Krystal Renn of Hobart, Ind.; son, Stephen Renn of Morehead, Ky.; mother, Nora Renn of West Frankfort; brothers, Billy (Frances) Renn of Loveland, Colo.; Kenneth (Debbi) Renn of Hobart, Ind.; four grandchildren, Dylan, Andrew, Triston, and Aubree; companion and best friend, Gloria Greenwell of West Frankfort; nephews, Tim (Sandra) Renn, Chris (Jackie) Renn, and Jeff (Christy) Renn; former wives, Angie Spurlock and Becky Renn. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 14, at Union Funeral Home in West Frankfort, with Roger Dutton officiating. Interment will be in Denning Cemetery on the Orient Road.
