He is believed to have been dead since last Monday, when he left the home of his son, Rashio(sic), in Rend City, to go on a fishing trip. When he was found, a sack containing several fish was tied to his belt. He is believed to have stepped into deep water and, being unable to swim, to have drowned soon after arriving at the river.
