Register-News, Mt Vernon IL, Wed 28 Jan 1998 JAMES FINN James Lowell FINN, 68, of West Frankfort died 5:50 a.m. Jan. 27, 1998, at Franklin Skilled Care in Benton. He worked at Barton and Collins in Benton for 40 years. Mr. FINN was born Feb. 10, 1929, in Norris City, a son of James A. and Ana (SHAW) FINN. Feb. 23, 1957, in West Frankfort, he married Donna L. COLEMAN. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at the Morton and Johnston Funeral Home, Benton, with the Rev. Rod PARCHMAN officiating. Burial will be in Masonic and Oddfellows Cemetery in Benton. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Mr. FINN is survived by his wife, Donna L. FINN of West Frankfort; five sisters, Jewel LOCKERBY and husband R.L. of Peoria, Grace KNOWLES and husband Alfred of Bonnie, Hazel STEWART and husband Jack of Benton, Donna BARNFIELD and husband Frank of Benton and Bernice MITCHELL of Benton; one brother-in-law, Gene COLEMAN and wife Susan of Marissa; and 14 nieces and nephews. Mr. FINN was preceded in death by his parents and one niece. He was a member of South Point Church of God in West Frankfort. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Franklin Skilled Care Nursing Facility and will be accepted at the funeral home at any time. Donna Rae FINN m.
