(Oct. 1978 clipped obit, newspaper not known) GERALD ODLE FORMER RESIDENT DIED OCT. 9 Mr. Gerald ODLE, formerly of Warrensburg, died Saturday, October 9, at the General Hospital in Kansas City. Born on June 1, 1931, in Warrensburg, he was the son of Commie ODLE and Hallie (NORMAN) ODLE. He is survived by one brother, Alva ODLE, Warrensburg; two sisters, Dorothy WEALOT/WEALOX? and Clara ODLE of Kansas City. Funeral services were held on Thursday, October 14, at 11:00 a.m. at the Holdren Funeral Home with Elder Floyd HURSH officiating. Music was by Mr. Wayne DUNLAP who sang "Old Rugged Cross" and "The Old, Old Path" accompanied by Mrs. Floyd HURSH on the organ.
