Vernon and Elgin, died Aug. 7, 1993, at a hospital in Cape Coral, Fla. He was born in Oklahoma, a son of Will and Anna (GIFFORD) SLAMANS. Services were conducted Aug. 11, 1993 in Bonita Springs, Fla. Mr. SLAMAN is survived by his wife, Betty; two sons, Ronald SLAMANS and Todd SLAMANS; one sister, Ella Faye McLAUGHLIN of Mt. Vernon. He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Alice Fern CLINTON SLAMANS, four brothers, Paul, Nelson, Ernest and Sam SLAMANS, and one sister, Fern THURNAU. Local arrangements were completed by the Johnston Funeral Home of Mt.
