BENTON - George F. Mason, 71, died at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, April 20, 2013, in Good Samaritan Regional Healthcare Center in Mount Vernon. In honor of George's wishes, he will be cremated and no public services will be conducted. George was a member of the Italian Club in Coello and Masonic Lodge. He was born Aug. 2, 1941, to George C. and Frankie C. (Bailor) Mason. He married Priscilla Howell Sept. 17, 1966. Survivors include his wife, Priscilla Mason of Valier Patch; two sons and daughters-in-law, Kenny Mason and wife Charlotte and Carl Mason and wife Becky, all of Valier Patch; seven grandchildren, Kendra Mason, Britney Mason, Wayd Mason, Michael Body, Cody Cluck, Dustin Cluck and Dustin Ray Swain; two brothers, Jerry Mason of Mount Vernon and Ted Mason of Lake Statin, Ind.; sister, Linda Leposki of Royalton; and several nieces and nephews.
