Register-News, Mt Vernon IL, Mon 23 Sep 1996 HAROLD ROBERTSON Harold ROBERTSON, 76, of West Frankfort and formerly of McLeansboro died 5:40 p.m. Sept. 21, 1996, at his home in West Frankfort. He was a retired farmer and road commissioner of Knights Prairie Township. Mr. ROBERTSON was born March 12, 1920, in Hamilton County, a son of Charles Willis and Martha (SNEED) ROBERTSON. May 7, 1939, in Hamilton County, he married Juanita BOSTER. Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Harre Funeral Home in McLeansboro with the Rev. Robert C. KINNEAR, the Rev. Jeff BAKER and the Rev. Benny FISHER officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Grave(sic) Cemetery near McLeansboro. Graveside military rites will be conducted by McLeansboro V.F.W. Post 1671. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Harre Funeral Home in McLeansboro. Mr. ROBERTSON is survived by his wife of 57 years, Juanita (BOSTER) ROBERTSON of West Frankfort; daughters, Mrs. Marvin (Linda) RITCHASON of Richmond, Mo., and Mrs. Donald (Becky) HUTCHCRAFT of Macedonia; three grandchildren, Lynn Ann LENHART, Shelly RITCHASON and Robbie HUTCHCRAFT; two great-grandchildren, Nikki LENHART and Reid LENHART; and a brother, Charles ROBERTSON of Davis, Okla. He was a member of Third Baptist Church in West Frankfort. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the southern Philippines Islands. Mr. ROBERTSON was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers. For those who wish memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois and will be accepted at Harre Funeral Home in McLeansboro.
