    3. Lorene Page, 94, of Benton, died at 3:00 p. m. Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at Franklin Hospital in Benton. Mrs. Page was born on January 9, 1919 in Benton, IL the daughter of William C. Hobbs and Allie (Beaty) Hobbs. She married John D. Page on December 24, 1937 and he preceded her in death on March 26, 1972. Lorene was a retired secretary for the Franklin County Farm Bureau. She was a member of the Mt. Zion Freewill Baptist Church and attended the Immanuel Baptist Church in Benton. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Surviving relatives include two sons, James (Vicki) Page, Benton, IL, John (Mary) Page, Marshalltown, IA, four grandchildren, Chelsea (Dusty) Crisp, Benton, IL, Courtney (Josh) Chady, Benton, IL, Randy (Rachel) Page, Dallas, TX, Julie (Tony) Koziarz, Cleveland, OH, seven great-grandchildren, Rylee and Raygan Taylor Crisp, Derek and Ashley Page, Cooper Daniel Chady, Katie and Elizabeth Koziarz, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mrs. Page was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother, Bill Hobbs. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 a. m. Friday, April 12, 2013 at the Hobbs-Johnson Funeral Home & Crematory in Benton. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with Pastor Rod Joplin officiating. Burial will be in the Masonic & Odd Fellows Cemetery in Benton. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice­­­­­­­­­­­­­ and will be accepted at the funeral home.
