Register-News, Mt Vernon IL, Thurs 18 Sep 1986 LOUIE LOVIN TEXAS Louie V. LOVIN, 74, Lexington, Texas, died at 4:40 a.m. Sept. 15, 1986, at his residence. He was a former resident of the Belle Rive area. Mr. LOVIN was a retired crew chief of Illinois Central Railroad. He was born March 28, 1912, in Frisco, the son of Charles B. and Emily (BAIN) LOVIN. On April 27, 1974, in Lexington, Texas, he married Mattie Cowen TEAGUE, who survives. Graveside services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday at Oddfellows Cemetery in Dahlgren with the Rev. Rudolph SCHLAG officiating. There will be no public visitation. Hughey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Those attending graveside services are asked to go directly to the cemetery. In addition to his wife, Mr. LOVIN is survived by two sons, Robert LOVIN and wife Linda of Opdyke and Jerry LOVIN of Centralia; one daughter, Mrs. Ron (Marilyn) WEBBER of Mt. Vernon; two stepsons, Roland TEAGUE of Crum, Texas, and Billie TEAGUE of Gautier, Miss.; one stepdaughter, Grace MADSEN of Cleburne, Texas; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Mr. LOVIN was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church of Lexington, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, one daughter, two brothers and two sisters.
