MOUND CITY -- Barbara Jean (Owen) Bigham, 66, passed away at 3:25 p.m. Wednesday, March 13, 2013, in Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. Barbara was born Jan. 25, 1947, in Vienna, the daughter of the late Lonzo Owen and Erma Lea (DeVault) Owen. Barbara was a homemaker. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, David Owen. Survivors include daughters, Stacy Lynn Gammons of Franklin, Tenn., and Tammy Neal of Cairo; a son, Lonnie Sharp of Mound City; her former husband, Raymond Sharp of Grand Chain; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three brothers, Larry Owen of Mounds, Donnie Owen of Mound City and Gary Owen of Charleston, Mo.; five sisters, Sheila Leoffler of Brockton, Mass., Marilyn D. Bruce of Benton, Sharon Horton of Clinton, Maine, Ramona Parkinson of Stockton, Calif., and Virginia Shillito of Benton; and several nieces and nephews. Per Barbara's request, private interment will be made in Cypress Masonic Cemetery in Cypress. Jones Funeral Home in Villa Ridge is in charge of arrangements.
