WEST FRANKFORT - William Jay Shaw, infant, died at 12:10 a.m. Monday, March 18, 2013, in Memorial Hospital of Carbondale. He was born to Matt and Erin (Palmer) Shaw on March 18, 2013, in Carbondale. William is survived by his parents, Matt and Erin Shaw of West Frankfort; two big brothers, Reese Aaron Shaw and Logan Alexander Shaw of West Frankfort; maternal grandparents, Richard and Mary Palmer of Marion; paternal grandparents, Howard and Margaret Shaw of Amboy; maternal great-grandfather, Richard Bell of Mount Prospect; maternal great-grandmother, Patricia Palmer of O'Fallon; and paternal great-grandmother, Rose Coss of Amboy; numerous aunts and uncles; other relatives; and friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandmother, Amy Bell; maternal great-grandfather, Paul Palmer; and paternal great-grandfather, Jay Coss. Services for William Jay Shaw will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 21, in Pleasant Grove Memorial Park, with Pastor Russell Warner officiating. Family and Friends are asked to go directly to the cemetery. Crain Pleasant Grove-Murdale Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
