Harriet (Smith) Blankenship passed away in Memphis, Tenn., on Saturday, March 23, 2013. She was born March 22, 1935, in Valier to Charles Ellis and Louella Getrude (Grubbs) Smith. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Phylis Smith and Clara Smith Teffertiller. She is survived by children, Chris, Karen, Jimmie, Melvin and Lloyd, and grandchildren, Chris, T.J., Christina and Charlene. Graveside rites were Wednesday, March 27, at the Smith Cemetery in Buckner.
