The older cemetery was first the Frizzell Prairie Cemetery, as there was a church by that name there and it was moved to west of Ewing and later became the First Baptist Church in Ewing. The old Cemetery was finally turned over to the Elder S. M. Williams Cemetery Association, as a lot of the family was buried there.
