Register-News, Mt Vernon IL, Thurs 18 Sep 1986 ANDREW McMAHAN McLEANSBORO Andrew J. McMAHAN, 81, McLeansboro, died at 9:02 p.m. Sept. 16, 1986, in Hamilton Memorial Hospital at McLeansboro. He was a retired retail merchant. Mr. McMAHAN was born Sept. 6, 1905, in Hamilton County, the son of Henry Tom and Emma Jane (BARNES) McMAHAN. He married Violet CAMPBELL, who survives. The funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday at Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro with the Rev. William AUXIER officiating. Burial will follow in I.O.O.F. Cemetery in McLeansboro. Friends may call at the funeral home 6 to 9 p.m. today. In addition to his wife, Mr. McMAHAN is survived by five sons, Eugene McMAHAN of Mesa, Airz.(sic), Donald McMAHAN of Decatur and Osborn, Buddy and Billy Joe McMAHAN, all of McLeansboro; one daughter, Mrs. Dorothy POLLARD of Carmi; one brother, James O. McMAHAN of McLeansboro; one sister, Mrs. Ann BURNS of East St. Louis; seven grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Mr. McMAHAN was a Protestant. He was preceded in death by his parents and one daughter.
