Thank you to everyone who replied to my query re: Hugh MOORE. I have not found a connection to the MOORE family in Barren & Goode Twps. I did discover that Hugh MOORE served as the Pastor at Horse Prairie Baptist Church, Barren Twp. FCI from Dec. 1952 thru Oct. 1956 per " History of Horse Prairie Baptist Church 1856-1956" . Hugh Moore was still the Pastor or a visiting Pastor in 1958 when he conducted the funeral service for Drue N. MOORE. H. MOORE composed the Centennial Song when Horse Prairie Church celebrated their centennial in Oct. 1956. Other Pastor's serving Horse Prairie Church were: John B. MAULDING, C.W. MAULDING, John D. & Frank HOOKER. Leon FOX, O. Wayne THOMAS, J.R. McDUFFY, J.H. PHILLIPS, Laben ESTUS, J.M. BILLINGSLY, James MARTIN, J.H. ALLEN, Sanford GEE, H. Carel HARRIS, J.C. NOLAN. If anyone would like the dates that they served please e-mail me directly.
