Lowell was a teacher for more than 20 years and was a member of the Warrensburg Methodist Church for many years. He married Betty Grace JOHNSON on April 16, 1946, and she preceded him in death. Left behind to cherish his memory are son, Lowell Jr. and wife Mary of Chatham and Carl and wife Jane of Decatury; daughter, Nancy WHEATON and husband Rick of Decatur; brother, Curtis HAMILTON; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Lowell was greeted into Heaven by his wife and his parents. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Kirk Cemetery in Ina with Brother David SHOES officiating.
