Register-News, Mt Vernon IL (from clipping, no date) MYRTLE HUNT MT. VERNON (includes photo) Myrtle HUNT, 78, 1022 Oakland Ave., died 9:30 a.m. March 15, 1990, at her home. Mrs. HUNT was employed at Mt. Vernon Garment Factory for several years. She was born April 14, 1911, in Missouri, a daughter of Joe and Maude Mae (MANSELL) STRONG. July 25, 1929, in Nashville, she married Raymond C. HUNT, who died Dec. 31, 1980. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Hughey Funeral Home with the Rev. Wayne CARTER officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. Friends may call 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Mrs. HUNT is survived by her sister, Mrs. Maxine OVERBY of Mt. Vernon, and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. HUNT was a member of Park Avenue Baptist Church, Happy Homemaker Home Extension Unit and the Sunshine Center. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, the Rev. Billie STRONG and Ralph STRONG; and four sisters, Lula STRONG, Alberta ROE, Sarah STRONG and Gertie JONES.
