    3. (Betty Sink will chime in on this question too!) The proper name for the cemetery is "Elder S. M. Williams Cemetery" (some add "Association" after Williams as well) --- Elder Silas Mercer WILLIAMS donated the land for it and it really is not connected with the Williams Chapel Church that is nearby. People refer to the cemetery as Williams Chapel Cemetery, but it shouldn't be... There is another older cemetery North of the Church - referred to as "Williams Cemetery". -SRJ > -----Original Message----- > From: ilfrankl-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:ilfrankl- > bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of KRobi91002@aol.com > Sent: Sunday, March 17, 2013 11:54 AM > To: ilfrankl@rootsweb.com > Subject: Re: [ILFRANKL] James Edgar HOLMAN (1906 -- 1984) - ADD'L > > Is there a difference between the Williams Chapel Cemetery, Ewing, > Franklin CO, IL and S.
