    3. Barbara, I have Charles Leroy "Roy" HALL as son of: Alfred Turner HALL and Margaret E. FOSTER m. 27 Dec 1894 (where?) per Grandma Deem's Obits, Hamilton Co IL 1917-1925 pg 118 (undated) Obituary Alford(sic) Turner HALL was born Jan. 31, 1863. Departed this life Jan. 25, 1922. Aged 58 years, 11 months and 24 days. He was married to Margaret FOSTER, Dec. 27, 1894. To this union seven children were born, his companion and five children have preceded him in death. He made peace with God and said he was ready for the judgement. He was a good father and a good neighbor, was always ready to help those in need. He leaves to mourn his departure, two children, Julia and Roy, and three brothers and two sisters and a host of relatives and friends. A precious one from us is gone, a voice we loved is stilled. A place is vacant in our home, which never can be filled. Funeral service conducted at Little Springs, Jan. 26, By D. H. KNIGHT. per Grandma Deem's Obits, Hamilton Co IL 1917-1925 pg 4 (undated) Obituary Margret E. wife of Alfred HALL was born March 31st 1869, died September 2nd 1917, age 48 years ? months 2 days, she was united in marriage December 27th 1894. To this union seven children was born, five having preceded her in death, two still living, Leroy and Julia. She claimed Christ as her personal Savior and her life went to show that she was in possession of that spirit which works by love and caused her to be a faithful companion, a kind mother and a good neighbor. She leaves to mourn their loss, the above named companion, two children, one brother, and a large number of relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted at Little Springs by the writer, D.
