Steven L. Faulkner, 43, of Mount Vernon, Illinois passed away at 1:38 A.M. on Friday, March 29, 2013 at Good Samaritan Regional Healthcare Center in Mount Vernon, Illinois. He was born Tuesday, June 25, 1968 in St. Louis, Missouri to Hubert Duanne and Patricia (Endicott) Faulkner. He married D. Ann Gallagher on January 23, 1990 in Clearwater, Florida. Steven was lucky enough to have a large and amazing family. He is survived by his wife: D. Ann Faulkner of Mount Vernon, Illinois, mother and stepfather: Mr. and Mrs. Bob Edwards of Catawissa, Missouri, half brother: Gordon Schaible of Aberdeen, South Dakota, step brothers: Shaun Edwards of Villa Ridge, Missouri; Norman Faulkner of Centralia, Illinois; Glen Faulkner of Centralia, Illinois; and David Faulkner of Centralia, Illinois, step sister: Lori Donoho of Walnut Hill, Illinois, and many uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, and good friends will also cherish his memory. Steven is also survived by his Beloved Companion Chinese Shar Pei: Hank Faulkner. His beloved grandparents: Helen and Alfred Endicott, Sr., his father: Hubert Duanne Faulkner, and business mentor: Paul Hoppes preceded him in death. At the Rainbow Bridge “The Huckleberryâ€, his basset hound and best friend is waiting. FACTS Steven worked as an antique dealer for over 30 years operating many different shops. He was the owner and operator of Gold Rush Antique and Coin of Mount Vernon. He never received a formal education but he will be remembered as always having been the smartest in the room. Graveside Burial of Ashes will take place at 1:00 P.M. Friday, April 5, 2013 at Hillcrest Cemetery in Centralia, Illinois CELEBRATION OF LIFE SERVICES: will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M.
