(12) THOMAS PINCKNEY WILLIAMS, born April 14, 1859 in Blairsville, Williamson County, Illinois and died in Benton, Franklin County, Illinois on Feb 10, 1943. “TP” as he was called. He was widower by the time he had died and the cause of his death was Cerebral Heomorhage (one week) as reported by Dr. W. H. ALVIS of Benton. He was buried in M&OF Cemetery in Benton. He was a quite, tall and slender man but had a temper, expressed in vocal rage. He was good with his hands, and was listed as a merchant and carpenter. Good with tools and made violins , chairs, tables and chairs mostly from Walnut wood, even made a wheel chair for his wife. It is said that many of this family were good singers and were very dedicated to Camp Meetings. He married Tennessee Elizabeth KELLEY on 12-24-1880 in Jefferson County, Illinois and she was born in Tennessee on 1-29-1862 and died on 8-16-1939 in Benton, Franklin County, Illinois from a stroke (had ten years prior) and she is also buried at M&OF Cemetery in Benton. She was called “Tennie”. They lived in Benton on North McLeansboro St, just one black North of the High School Athletic field Following her stroke, that she endured for about 8 eyars, was taken care of by an orphaned granddaughter, Mary MIDYETT, who she and her husband raised after the death of her parents. She had the same Dr that her husband did and the informant was Paul WILLIAMS of Benton, Illinois They had the following Children: Alvie WILLIAMS Minnie WILLIAMS Rella WILLIAMS Allie “Chub” WILLIAMS Paul WILLIAMS. Mazie WILLIAMS Homer WILLIAMS Obed “Obe” WILLIAMS Pricilla “Dutch” WILLIAMS (14) DICEY P. WILLIAMS was born 1866 in Jefferson County, Illinois. Her family have always suspected foul play in her death. He daughter Ethyl was always secretive about who her mother was and the circumstances surrounding her death. She married Benjamin Franklin BOOK on 1-31-1886 in Jefferson County, Illinois. He was born 7-23-1861 in Jefferson County, Illinois and died 5-27-1942 in Washington and was buried there.
