WEST FRANKFORT - Madeline Spiller, 92, of Joliet, formerly of West Frankfort, died at 3:20 a.m. Wed-nesday, Feb. 27, 2013, in Rosewood Care Center in Joliet. Madeline was born July 31, 1920, in Orient, to Ronald and Margaret (Waugh) Talford. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She was a member of VFW Womens Auxillary. The family wishes to express thanks to Rosewood and Vitas Hospice for their compassion and care. She is survived by children, Margaret Seamon of Wisconsin; Joyce (Bill) Larson of Crest Hill, John (Claudette) Thompson of Plainfield, Jean (Dave) Kezele of Crest Hill, Terrie Lynn Thompson (Bob Reszel) of Joliet; stepchildren, Freddie Spiller and Beverly Armes, both of West Frankfort; 14 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Spiller; parents; brother, Harry Talford; sisters, Kathleen, Nattella, and Shirley and son-in-law, Bob Seamon. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 2, in Union Funeral Home in West Frankfort, with Pastor Mike Cash officiating. Interment will be in Tower Heights Cemetery in West Frankfort.
