LOGAN - John Ragsdale, 63, died at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, March 10, 2013, at his residence. Services will be conducted at a later date. Mr. Ragsdale was a Vietnam-era veteran who served in the U.S. Navy. He was born April 14, 1949, in Galatia to Donald and Jo Ann Moser Ragsdale. Survivors include his mother, Jo Ann Russell of Galatia; daughters, Kimberly and Rebecca Ragsdale of Lovington, N.M.; and brother, Mike (Carla) Ragsdale of Benton. He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda; and father, Donald Ragsdale. Union Funeral Home in West Frankfort is in charge of arrangements.
