Linda Kay Mocaby, 68, of West Frankfort, Illinois passed away at 11:30 a.m. Sunday, March 24, 2013 at her residence. She was born December 8, 1944 in Lick Creek, Illinois to Eugene Duane and Gertrude Ruth (Ragsdale) Skelton. Linda was a loving mother and devoted grandmother; attended Church of God in Thompsonville and All Nations Church of God in Marion, Illinois; she was a church camp counselor for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Ronald Skelton; sisters, Lora Fox and Ruth Ann Riddle. Survivors include her daughters: Nova Mocaby Randolph (Michael Ragsdale) of Thompsonville, Donna Mocaby (Jim Bock) of West Frankfort; devoted companion: Rev. Frankie Starrick of West Frankfort; brothers: Leroy Skelton, Lewis Skelton, Bob Skelton, and Bruce (Keri) Skelton all of Carbondale; grandchildren: Jessica Tarvin, Jordan Osterhout, Amelia Osterhout, Eric Tarvin, Mason and Morgan Osterhout, and Robert Bock. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 28, 2013 at Union Funeral Home in West Frankfort, Illinois with Brother Brian Mixon officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at the funeral home from 5 to 8 p.m. Interment will be at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Vienna, Illinois.
