    3. per Northern Twp Franklin Co IL: A History (GOSS 2002) Vol. 2 pg 506 MOORE, Nell B., 91, of Rt. 1, Macedonia, died at 7:05 p.m. November 20, 1969, at her home. She was born Nov. 27, 1877, in Macedonia, the daughter of Martin and Saline BARNETT SIMS. In 1902 she married Silas L. MOORE who survives. A member of Union Baptist Church, Mrs. MOORE leaves her husband, two sons: Howard MOORE of West Frankfort and Hugh MOORE of Portland, Ore., a daughter, Ruth MOORE of Carmi, seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Funeral services at Gholson Funeral Home, McLeansboro, Rev. I.E. MILLER and Rev. Gene RISTER officiating. Interment in Antioch Cemetery. == per A History of Macedonia, IL (GOSS 1991) pg 127 MOORE, Hugh, 70, of Coos Bay, Oregon, died December 26, 1983, in Hamilton Memorial Hospital in McLeansboro. Mr. MOORE, a retired Baptist minister, was a former resident of Macedonia. He was a native of Hamilton County, born November 25, 1913, to Silas and Nella SIMS MOORE. He was a veteran of World War II. He is survived by his wife, Barbara LAIRD MOORE; two sons, Casey MOORE, Macedonia, and Hughey MOORE, Byhalia, Miss., and two daughters, Novena FORBES, Beaverton, Oregon and Jeanine AITKIN, Point, Texas. He also leaves 11 grandchildren, one great grandchild and a sister, Miss Ruth MOORE, Havana, Florida. Funeral services at Ten Mile Baptist Church, Rev. Everett LEMAY officiating. Arrangements through Gholson Funeral Home, McLeansboro.
