per Northern Twp Franklin Co IL: A History (GOSS 2002) Vol. 2 pg 506 MOORE, Nell B., 91, of Rt. 1, Macedonia, died at 7:05 p.m. November 20, 1969, at her home. She was born Nov. 27, 1877, in Macedonia, the daughter of Martin and Saline BARNETT SIMS. In 1902 she married Silas L. MOORE who survives. A member of Union Baptist Church, Mrs. MOORE leaves her husband, two sons: Howard MOORE of West Frankfort and Hugh MOORE of Portland, Ore., a daughter, Ruth MOORE of Carmi, seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Funeral services at Gholson Funeral Home, McLeansboro, Rev. I.E. MILLER and Rev. Gene RISTER officiating.
