Services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday March 28, 2009, in the Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City with Rev. Russell Wycoff officiating. Burial will be in East Fork Cemetery in West Frankfort. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon to 2:00 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the funeral home. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. Betty was born on July 5, 1942, in Pond Creek, the daughter of Harvey and Halie Mae (Jordan) Wilson. She married Jack Marks on May 5, 1959 in Kentucky who preceded her in death on May 29, 1978. Betty was a homemaker and was of the Baptist Faith. She is survived by three sons, Randy Marks of Carterville, Richard Marks and wife Tammy of Benton, and Darrell Marks and Wife Dana of Carterville; one daughter, Robin Marks and husband Jim See of Harrisburg; grandchildren, Allen Morris, Britni Morris, Cassandra. Marks, Jennifer Morgan, Aiden Marks, Dakota Coffey; step-grandchildren, Michael Edwards, Jennifer Edwards, Mycah Browning; brothers, Jerry Wilson and wife Carolyn of West Frankfort, Carl Wilson and wife Peggy of West Frankfort, Tom Wilson and wife Wilma of Alton; sisters, Aleen Darnell and husband John of Thompsonville, and Alice Arnod of Whittington; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and three brothers, Clyde Wilson, Virgil Wilson, and Kenneth Wilson.
