Abby Louise Crisman Emery, 82, of West Frankfort, Illinois passed away at 8:28 p.m. Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at Westside Care Center in West Frankfort, Illinois. She was born September 24, 1930 in Nashville, Tennessee to Charley and Bernice (Stewart) Owen. Abby was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include four sons: Ed (Frances) Crisman of Karnak; Stuart (Deanna) Crisman of Grand Chain; Bill Crisman of Joppa; Doug (Stacy) Emery of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; one daughter, Alicia (Ron) Smelcer of West Frankfort; 12 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and 22 great great grandchildren. Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 8, 2013 at Cairo Cemetery in Village Ridge, Illinois. Union Funeral Home in West Frankfort, Illinois is in charge of arrangements.
