ROYALTON -- John Pierce Schuyler "Jay" 89 of Indianapolis, formerly of Chicago, passed away Feb. 21, 2013. Jay was the loving husband of the late Lillian "Lolly" (nee Arnott); dear father of Peter (Diane), Susan (Mike) Nikolich, John, Dianne (Hugo), and Philip; beloved grandfather of Jessica, Jackie, Christine, and Kyle; fond brother of Ruth Peters and the late Peg and Margaret; brother-in-law of Pete; and cherished uncle of Jeanne (Joe), Pat, Nancy (Tod), Denny (Renée), Jan (Paul) and Nancy (Howie). Jay enjoyed a distinguished career as a professional photographer and was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. A memorial gathering for Jay will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, March 9, with a service at 5 p.m., in G.L. Hills Funeral Home, 745 Graceland Ave., Des Plaines, Ill. Burial will be in St. Aloysius Cemetery.
