    3. I found this yesterday while going thru a box of old papers. Register-News, Mt Vernon IL, Thurs 28 June 1990 pg 5-A Mr. and Mrs. Howard WHEELER 40th Anniversary (includes recent photo) Mr. and Mrs. Howard WHEELER of Mt. Vernon observed their 40th wedding anniversary Tuesday. To celebrate the occasion, a surprise get-together is planned 6 p.m. Saturday at the Charles and Kathleen DONOHO home, located on Liberty Road. Howard WHEELER and the former Wilma SLEDGE were married June 26, 1950. They are the parents of four children, Carla DONOHO, Bob WHEELER, Jeff WHEELER and Chuck WHEELER, all of Mt. Vernon. They have eight grandchildren, Tony and Chris DONOHO, Nathan and Justin WHEELER, Greg and Nick WHEELER, and Emily and Blake WHEELER. Friends and relatives are asked to bring their musical instruments for the get-together which will be a gospel and country jamboree.     3. Thanks JoAnn. I have Wilma as d/o Moss E. Sledge and Tillie Elvera Helberg but I don't have the parents of Howard Wheeler. Anyone know his parents?
