ROYALTON - June Stidd, 91, passed away Monday, March 11, 2013, in Herrin Hospital. June was born June 1, 1921, in Blairsville, to Dause Gabriel and Florence Eva (Lewis) Cundiff. She married Glen Stidd May 11, 1940, in Jackson, Mo. He preceded her in death Aug. 29, 1992. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Bonnie and Virgil Carpenter and Jane and Jim Riley, all of Royalton; six grandchildren, Cathy (John) Gaddis of Royalton, Lisa (David) Price of West Frankfort, Rocky (Tina) Carpenter of Tucson, Ariz., Michelle Rutherford of Royalton, Nickki (Jay) Brooks of Royalton and Kasey (Randy) File of Springfield; eight great- grandchildren, John (Tracy) Gaddis, Jimmy (Bianca) Gaddis, Megan and Erica Price, Shelby Rutherford, Emily Brooks and Talon and Miranda File; three great-great-grandsons, Johnny and Jackson Gaddis and Jimmy Gaddis. She was also preceded in death by her parents; a son, Gary Glen Stidd who died Dec. 10, 1978; two brothers and five sisters. Mrs. Stidd was a member of Royalton Church of the Nazarene. She retired from Allen Industries in Herrin after 28 years in 1986 and was a homemaker. Services for Mrs. Stidd will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday, March 15, in Blairsville Cemetery, with Brother David Sorensen officiating. There will be no visitation. Family and friends are asked to gather at the cemetery prior to the services. In lieu of flowers, memorials in memory of Mrs. Stidd may be made to Royalton Church of the Nazarene, P. O.
