    3. MULKEYTOWN -- Lloyd Hale, 70, died Sunday, May 4, 2014, in Marshall Browning Hospital in Du Quoin. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 8, in Gilbert Funeral Home in Christopher with Brothers Jerry King and John Lindell officiating. Burial will be in Mulkeytown Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 7, at the funeral home. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. Mr. Hale was a groundskeeper for 27 years at Benton Country Club. He attended Royalton Baptist Church and was a member of the Army National Guard. He was born Aug. 27, 1943, in West Frankfort to John N. Hale and Loretta (Stidd) Hale Murphy. He married Brenda (Cunningham) Hale Sept. 8, 1979, and she survives in Mulkeytown. Other survivors include his children, Melissa and Norman Inglett Jr. of Mulkeytown, Kim Ketteman of Herrin, Debbie Brandon of Mount Vernon, Lisa and David Ore of Benton and John and Mary Ketteman of Fairbanks, Alaska; 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sister, Joyce Sanders pf Rosiclare; and niece and nephew, Vevin Sanders and Connie McDicken, both of Royalton.
