The Register-News, Mount Vernon, Illinois, July 11, 1968, page 2 Grace ARNOLD Dies At Age 82; Funeral at Ina Mrs. Grace ARNOLD, 82, of Benton, died at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Setzkorn Nursing Home in Mt. Vernon. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Ina Free Will Baptist church. The Rev. Frank RONEY will officiate and burial will be in Kirk cemetery. The body will lie in state at the Ina Funeral Home where friends may call after 5:00 p.m. Friday. Mrs. ARNOLD was a member of the East Benton Baptist church. She was born July 10, 1886, in Ina, the daughter of W. W. and Susan (RENOLDS) [sic] KOONCE. She was married to Henry Wilson ARNOLD who preceded her in death. Mrs. ARNOLD is survived by one son, William Ladine ARNOLD, of New York City; one daughter, Mrs. Ersie SHOEMAKER, of Chicago; one step-daughter, Mrs. Ferne FRADENBURG, of Lebanon, Mo.; one brother, G. W. KOONCE, of Long Beach, Calif.; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one sister, two brother, one half brother, and two half sisters. ------ Note: I believe Ersie SHOEMAKER should be Ersie SHOEMATE.
