Marianne Mrogenski, age 82, passed away at 2:50 a.m. Saturday, May 3, 2014 at the Helia Healthcare Center in Benton. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at the Leffler - Poulson Funeral Home of Benton. Graveside services and interment will follow immediately after the visitation at the Masonic & Odd Fellows Cemetery, Benton, with Father Joseph Trapp officiating. Marianne was born in Benton, Illinois on December 10, 1931, the only child of Mary L. (Wallace) Sohn and John J. Anderson. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband of 61 years Raymond Mrogenski, who died on April 6, 2014. She is survived by sons Donald Mrogenski of Cleveland, TN, John Mrogenski of Hillsboro, OR, David Mrogenski of Benton, and daughter Sue Clark of Surprise, AZ, as well as six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Marianne worked for several years as a Nursing Assistant at Franklin Hospital in Benton. She also worked as a volunteer Emergency Medical Technician for the Franklin County Ambulance Service. Marianne served several years as an officer in the American Legion Post 280 Women's Auxiliary. <javascript: void(0)>
