MARY ELIZABETH LEFLER Benton Mary Elizabeth LEFLER, 82, of 203 N. Buchanan St., Benton, died at 7:10 p.m. Tuesday, November 10, 1987, at Franklin Hospital. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, November 13, at Hobbs Johnson Funeral Home. Burial will be Masonic and Odd Fellows Cemetery, and visitation will be from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Mrs. LEFLER was born August 6, 1905, the daughter of Thomas RUNNELS and Polly ELLIS. She was married to Roy LEFLER, who died in October, 1960. Surviving are one son, Clyde Irvin LEFLER, of Jeffersonville, Ind.; six daughters, Mrs. Delphia Mae KENT, of Mendota; Mrs. Juanita Elizabeth PHILLIPS, of Benton; Mrs. Edith Irene JOHNSON, of Benton; Mrs. JoDean AVERY, of Mt. Vernon; Mrs. Colleen PYRON, of Benton; and Mrs. Brenda BRUCE, of Benton; one sister, Mrs. Ethel CAREY, of Rock Falls; 24 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. Mrs. LEFLER was a member of New Hope Baptist Church.
