Germi Lane, 32 of Salem, passed away Friday, March 21, 2014. A Celebration of Life Service will be held March 31, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at the Gospel Lighthouse Church in Odin with Pastor Kurt Matthews officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Kevin Helm-Lane and will be accepted at Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home in Centralia, which is in charge of arrangements. Vernon; a grandmother, Helen Teets of Salem; five brothers: Daniel Lane and friend Ameila of Centralia, Thomas Crooks II of Odin, Thomas Lane II of Mt. Vernon, Tristin Lane of Arizona and Justin Lloyd of Indiana; three sisters: Shana Lane and fiancé James of Sandoval, Samantha Lloyd of Mt. Vernon and Jessica Moore of Benton; one niece and two nephews; several aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous friends. Mr. Lane was born August 3, 1981 in Mt. Vernon, son of Thomas Lane and Mary (McCarthy) Lane. He married Kevin Helm-Lane on August 2, 2011 in Vandalia and he survives in Brownstown.  He was preceded in death by his two grandfathers: Grant Teets and Gene Scott, one grandmother, Virginia Lane, a sister, Amie Lynn Lane and a mother-in-law, Betty Helm.
