The Benton Evening News, October 24, 2003 CARSON LEROY LOUCKS Sesser - Carson Leroy Loucks , 68, died at 4:08 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 19, 2003, at St. Mary's Good Samaritan Regional Health Center, Mt. Vernon. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 22 in the Brayfield-Gilbert Funeral Home, Sesser, with Brother Larry Cook officiating. Burial will be in Horse Prairie Cemetery. Friends may call after 6 p.m. Tuesday to the funeral home. Mr. Loucks was born on Nov. 3, 1934, in Jefferson County, the son of Emro and Clara (Mobray) Loucks. He married Nellie (Stotz) Loucks and she survives. He was a member of the Bear Point Baptist Church in Sesser. In addition to his wife, he is survived by children David Ray Loucks and wife Debbie of Herrin, Paul Eugene Loucks and wife Becky of Pinckneyville, Donald Allen Loucks and wife Freda, Sesser, Elizabeth Ann Roberts and husband Paul of Sesser, Resa Faye Gulley and husband Glen of Sesser; 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
